Stopped in will passing through Tallahassee. Greeted by the owner as she enlightened us with insight of all the different brittles they make and offer. Never have met a more proud small business owner. We pursched a few different scoops of their in house made brittle ice creams and each one blew our minds on the creaminess and flavors. We picked up a few bags of their brittles and was taken back on the texture and taste. Our kid loves the sunflower seed brittle! Truly a hidden gem that we so happened to find while driving around Tallahassee. We have Graters Ice Cream back home and this brittle ice cream was light-years better! We are huge fan of house made candies and especially icecreams and Barbs was truly a home run! Thanks for the hospitality, warm welcome and tasty confections!

Every time we travel from Miami and visit our daughter in FSU we ask her to take us to this fabulous cozy and vintage place. I cannot believe any one would come on here and give less than 5 stars. Since the firts time we were there, immediately we felt in love with Barb and her husband, they are a very nice couple. There you feel loved and appreciated. Everything is homemade and the ice cream and toppings, the gourmet popcorn, etc. are freaking delicious . Barb, the lady who served my ice cream, she was the sweetest ever in the whole world. I recommend this place to anyone with all my heart. Thank you Barb. Grisel

We had a variety of tasty items. My daughter had the sunflower chocolate ice cream on a sugar cone and really enjoyed it. My husband had a chocolate waffle cone with a scoop of cookies & cream and a scoop of virgin chocolate. He really enjoyed both of the flavors. They also picked out Tiramisu, Black Forest, and Cappuccino truffles. All were fantastic. I can’t have dairy or gluten, so I had their strawberry lemonade 🍓🍋 fruit popsicle which was very tasty as well. The environment was lovely, as was Ms Barb. We happened to catch it after a large group left, so it was very peaceful and pleasant! 💜

I recently visited Barb's Gourmet at 1671 N Monroe St cottage 6a, in Tallahassee, FL. I spend a nice afternoon spending a little time here. I enjoyed all the varieties of brittle, and chocolates, and candies. Barb was there and I got a chance to compliment here of what a nice place. I made my purchase and was gone.

First time going today and I can know I’ll already be back again. I walked in with my girlfriend looking for ice cream and we got the best service ever. We were provided info on their fruit popsicles and their ice creams and I was already just ready to get everything there!! We ended up getting some scoops of regular Ice cream and were suggested some toppings to help bring out the flavors. The toppings per suggestion were amazing in bring out the flavor!! Once hundred percent recommend coming here and definitely try to support this local business!
